Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to support legal staff across a broad range of litigation and case management functions. This is a fully onsite role based in Trenton, NJ, working standard business hours Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Handle discovery requests and coordinate related document production
Conduct legal research to support case preparation
Manage evidence and prepare trial exhibits as directed
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents
Prepare correspondence related to legal matters, cases, and judicial proceedings
Locate and coordinate expert witnesses for specific case needs
Interview witnesses and relevant parties under direction of legal staff
Summarize transcripts and other documents for legal staff review
Draft jury instructions when assigned
Attend court and agency proceedings to assist legal staff
Serve as liaison with government agencies on behalf of legal staff
Organize, maintain, and manage case files including retrieval systems
Act as custodian of case files when required
Assist in training and guiding clerical support staff in legal functions
Utilize various electronic, manual, and computerized legal information systems

Location & Work Model

Fully onsite at 25 Market Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Working hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Parking available on-site.

Engagement Details

12-month contract. Interview conducted via web/video.
