HR Business Partner

Cohere is a security-first enterprise AI company that builds foundation AI models and end-to-end products for real-world business problems. The HR Business Partner will support the Tech organization during rapid growth by advising leaders, shaping organizational design and people strategy, coaching managers, and driving talent and organizational health initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Organizational design: Help teams and structures evolve as we scale
• Leadership: Coach managers and strengthen leadership capability
• Talent: Drive performance, talent, and succession
• Organizational health: Support engagement, retention, and team effectiveness
• People strategy: Shape priorities and build new ways of working as we scale

Requirements:

• • Has strong HRBP experience: 5+ years as an HRBP or People Partner
• • Knows technical organizations: Has partnered with Engineering, Research, or similarly technical teams
• • Has scaled: Has worked in a startup, scale-up, or other high-growth environment
• • Thinks globally: Has supported distributed teams and leaders
• • Writes exceptionally well: Clear, concise written communication is core to how we operate and influence
• • Is pro-team: Collaborative, low-ego, and invested in making the whole team better
