Independent Contractor Project Manager – ERP Implementation

33Floors is an IT consulting firm specializing in Yardi software and real estate technology solutions. The company is seeking an experienced Independent Contractor Project Manager to independently coordinate and manage a mid-to-large ERP implementation, including project plans, timelines, deliverables, risks, data migration, stakeholder communication, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage the overall project plan, timeline, milestones, and dependencies
• Coordinate activities across the client team, 33Floors consultants, and other project stakeholders
• Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure appropriate follow-up on decisions and action items
• Track project deliverables, open items, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Identify potential delays or project risks and escalate them appropriately
• Maintain clear documentation of project status, decisions, priorities, and outstanding items
• Coordinate data migration activities and associated timelines during the early phases of the project
• Help ensure client and consulting resources are aligned on responsibilities and deadlines
• Monitor progress against established implementation milestones and communicate changes or concerns
• Coordinate activities across implementation phases, including configuration, data conversion, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare
• Provide clear and concise project status updates to client and internal stakeholders
• Help maintain momentum and accountability across a distributed project team
• Support change management and communication activities as needed throughout the implementation

Requirements:

• • Demonstrated project management experience supporting or leading mid-to-large ERP or enterprise software implementations
• • Demonstrated experience managing complex software implementation projects from planning through go-live and post-launch support
• • Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle stages
• • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deliverables, and dependencies
• • Strong project planning, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills
• • Ability to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• • Comfortable working independently in a consulting environment with limited day-to-day supervision
• • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• • Availability for meetings and project activities during Pacific Time business hours
• • Previous Yardi implementation experience
• • Experience with Yardi Voyager or other Yardi products
• • Experience implementing ERP or enterprise software within the real estate industry
• • Previous consulting or professional services experience
• • Experience managing data migration, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities
• • PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certification
