Scientific Sales Account Manager

ACROBiosystems develops recombinant proteins and critical reagents and assays that support drug development and clinical applications. The Scientific Sales Account Manager will lead commercial activities in Maryland and Delaware by developing customer relationships, expanding the territory, recommending scientific solutions, and supporting researchers across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with scientists in academia, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies
• Understand customer research goals and recommend appropriate reagents and solutions
• Conduct customer meetings (virtual and in-person) to discuss scientific applications
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and technical support
• Participate in conferences, seminars, and networking events
• Manage and grow a defined territory within Maryland and Delaware
• Travel within territory (approximately 30–50%)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related field
• Hands-on experience with protein-based assays (e.g., ELISA, FACS, SPR, BLI)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in transitioning into a commercial or customer-facing role
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
• Dedication to providing great customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with teams
• Passion to positively promote and drive success on company initiatives
• Travel within territory (approximately 30–50%)
• Master's degree or above in a related field
• Previous experience in cell and gene therapy, immunology, or antibody therapeutics field
• Industry research experience (2-5 years)
