Regional Sales Executive – Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (Remote)

Cognizant is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to drive strategic growth within the healthcare industry. The role focuses on selling Revenue Cycle Management, Clearinghouse/EDI, and Credentialing solutions, managing the full sales lifecycle, building executive relationships, and expanding client accounts while working remotely and traveling as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development opportunities across Clearinghouse/EDI, Credentialing, and end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services
• Identify, qualify, and engage prospective healthcare clients through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, finance executives, and operational decision-makers
• Deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions through virtual and in-person meetings
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing activities
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, client meetings, and healthcare industry events
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting through Salesforce CRM
• Partner with implementation, operations, product, and client success teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term satisfaction
• Conduct business reviews and identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling services
• Monitor healthcare market trends, payer changes, reimbursement models, and competitive activity to inform sales strategies
• Collaborate with marketing teams to strengthen regional campaigns, messaging, and lead-generation initiatives
• Utilize sales metrics, analytics, and market insights to optimize performance and drive growth

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience selling healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services and solutions
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, revenue targets, and key performance metrics
• Experience selling professional services, business services, or outsourced solutions within the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, reimbursement methodologies, and payer processes
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for opportunity management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with executive-level stakeholders and influence purchasing decisions
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and active listening skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate client challenges into business solutions
• Proficiency with virtual communication and collaboration tools in a remote sales environment
• Experience selling Clearinghouse/EDI, Credentialing, Business Office Outsourcing, or End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management services
• Deep understanding of Acute Care, Health Systems, Provider Organizations, and Large Physician Groups
• Knowledge of extended business office functions and healthcare financial operations
• Established network of healthcare provider and revenue cycle leadership contacts
• Recognized industry expertise, thought leadership, or active participation in healthcare revenue cycle organizations
• Experience developing regional go-to-market strategies and managing complex sales opportunities
• Demonstrated success in cross-selling and expanding client relationships
• Membership in relevant healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare finance, or healthcare technology industry associations
