uEHR Implementation Team: Project Manager

Valley Health System is seeking a Project Manager for its uEHR Implementation Team. The role leads moderate to large cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, communication, and quality. The position partners with operational, clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders to achieve project objectives and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• This role leads and coordinates cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations
• Responsible for project planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management, stakeholder communication, status reporting, and adherence to organizational project management standards
• Partners with operational, clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders to achieve project objectives and drive successful outcomes
• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects with defined scope, timelines, and dependencies
• Develop detailed project plans across multiple teams and workstreams
• Track progress and ensure adherence to milestones and deliverables
• Execute within established project management frameworks and standards
• Develop and manage project budgets for assigned initiatives
• Track expenses, monitor variances, and escalate budget risks as needed
• Coordinate and manage resource assignments to support project plans
• Ensure appropriate utilization of assigned team resources
• Identify, track, and document risks, issues, and dependencies
• Escalate risks and barriers in a timely manner
• Support mitigation planning to maintain delivery timelines
• Provide regular project status reporting
• Facilitate team meetings, updates, and decision tracking
• Support alignment across project stakeholders and teams
• Follow established project methodologies, tools, and documentation standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with defined governance processes
• Coordinate work across cross-functional team members
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for team members
• Promote consistent project management practices across teams and departments
• Mentor and train others who are in project management roles
• Train team members who participate on project teams

Requirements:

• Equivalent combination of education and 4 years of technical application experience in lieu of degree may be considered
• PMP Certification Required
• Experience working with application support, workflow analysis, and system configuration
• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline relevant to the supported function is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in information systems, application support, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred
• Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects by managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
• Strong project planning and coordination skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management, resource planning, and financial tracking to ensure efficient project execution
• Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies while escalating concerns appropriately
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including status reporting, meeting facilitation, and executive updates
• Experience applying project management methodologies, governance standards, and documentation best practices
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills with the ability to align teams and drive results in a matrixed environment
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop project team members while promoting consistent project management practices
• Proven track record of independently managing high-complexity, high-risk initiatives with a focus on execution, accountability, and delivery excellence
