Content Marketing Manager

CyrusOne is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to operate and grow its external content and education platforms. The role develops and distributes accessible educational content across video, digital, podcast, and long-form channels, translating complex infrastructure topics into credible storytelling for diverse audiences and managing content production, partnerships, and paid social campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Translate complex infrastructure and technical topics into compelling, accessible content across explainer videos, interviews, short-form content, and long-form storytelling
• Identify key questions, concerns, and misconceptions among community and stakeholder audiences, and develop clear, credible content that proactively addresses them
• Own the strategy and execution of CyrusOne’s YouTube and short-form video channels, including content planning, programming, audience growth, distribution, and optimization
• Capture content on location at data centers, construction sites, community events, and executive engagements, and develop footage into scalable, repeatable content formats
• Support the development and production of podcast and long-form interview content featuring executives, subject-matter experts, industry leaders, and policymakers, with an emphasis on repurposing content across multiple channels
• Manage paid social campaigns focused on education, awareness, and visibility, using performance insights to continuously refine content and distribution strategies
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external creative and production agencies to bring content concepts from development through execution

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital media, social media, video content, or platform-based content publishing
• Strong storytelling instincts and a genuine understanding of audience needs. You can take complex, technical, or unfamiliar topics and make them engaging, approachable, and easy to understand
• Ability to translate technical or potentially complex topics into clear, credible content that builds understanding and confidence with diverse audiences
• Experience developing and executing content strategies across platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, or similar channels
• Experience with AI-enabled content and production tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Descript, Riverside, or similar platforms, to support scripting, editing, and content development
• Interest in developing on-camera and field-production capabilities; CyrusOne will provide appropriate equipment and training
• Experience partnering with external creative, video, or production agencies
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment
• Experience launching, building, or growing a YouTube channel or other video-first content platform
• Experience developing interview-driven, documentary-style, or narrative content, including podcasts or recurring video series
• Familiarity with B2B, technology, data center, infrastructure, energy, construction, or related industries
• Experience using audience insights and platform analytics to inform content strategy and improve engagement
