Sales Executive (Hunter/Closer) - Managed IT Services

Sequentur provides managed IT and security services that help businesses optimize technology infrastructure, improve productivity, and maintain security. The MSP Sales Executive will generate and close new business by managing the full sales cycle, engaging business decision-makers, and securing recurring managed services contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using cold calling, email campaigns, local networking, and social selling
• Conduct strategic discovery meetings with business leaders to map IT pain points to Sequentur solutions
• Collaborate with internal technical and leadership to align Sequentur solutions with prospect needs
• Manage proposals, address technical and financial objections, and successfully close new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) contracts
• Document all sales activity, communications, and pipeline stages accurately to maintain reliable forecasting
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our services and expand Sequentur’s presence in the market
• Meet or exceed assigned sales activity, pipeline, and closed business targets

Requirements:

• This role is strictly for candidates with prior Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales experience
• We are looking for a true sales hunter and closer
• experienced MSP Sales Executive with a proven background selling Managed IT Services and Security Services to growing small and mid-market businesses
• strong understanding of core MSP services, including Help Desk Support, Microsoft 365, Azure, Veeam, Firewalls, Cybersecurity solutions, project-based work, and recurring monthly IT support
• a thorough understanding of Managed IT and Managed Security services and the ability to accurately identify prospects who are a good fit for our company and services
• 3-5+ years of verified B2B outside sales experience specifically within an MSP environment
• Proven track record of generating and developing your own leads and securing new client contracts
• Strong understanding of Managed IT Services and Security Services solutions, MSP sales cycle, recurring managed services, IT support, cybersecurity concerns, and SMB market business technology needs
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ConnectWise and HubSpot a plus
