Sr Business Analyst Finance Systems(SAP FICO)

The Senior Business Analyst will support global finance systems maintenance, financial close activities, accounting integration, automation projects, and SAP FICO-related initiatives while coordinating with finance, accounting, and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support all Financial systems mainly SAP Finance and Controlling module (SAP FICO) – The major systems are SAP P58(COPA), Esprit, FDM, SAP EHP etc
• Support SHS Project Pathfinder related tasks
• Support Delegation of Authority tasks
• Define business requirements by working with finance and accounting controllers, analyze and document issues and/or requirements and contribute to cost effective solutions in the areas of finance and accounting by testing the solutions. Develop test scenarios, process flow, test plans & other documentation. Validate SAP finance data conversions, system enhancements & any development for financial and operational integrity
• Guide the team on the overall design, testing and deployment of financial solutions and maintenance tasks w.r.t SHS-ACPR competence center
• Guide and support the team for seamless financial close
• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules including consolidation

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules including consolidation
• Bachelors Degree  with a focus on Finance or Accounting or other relevant fields with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Exposure to SAP ECC 6.0 OR SAP S/4 HANA with focus on SAP FICO modules(General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center, Internal Order and Profitability Analysis)
• Should be able to understand the intricacies of Master Data(General Ledger, Profit Center, Trading Partner, Business Partners etc.,) as part of overall O2C, P2P and R2R processes
• Understanding of integrated process – P2P, O2C and RTR is must
• Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects under tight timelines
• Able to executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates business specifications, process flows for systems to meet business requirements
• Strong communication skills in a global environment to drive necessary changes for accounting and finance process improvements
• A successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
• CPA or MBA finance is preferred
• A candidate driving finance projects with ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments is preferred
• Extremely goal-oriented, innovative, and Quick learner, adapts easily to new situations/challenges
