National Inventory Manager/ Special Projects #500

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is hiring a National Inventory Manager/Special Projects to oversee inventory purchasing and execute complex projects across business functions. The role supports project managers and regional sales administration, monitors budgets and reporting, and leads warranty operations and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the purchase schedules for all regions to ensure we do not over or under order product
• Provides weekly updates and reports to the National Sales Manager
• Reviews all orders for accuracy and completeness; actively participates in all regional construction meetings to ensure alignment and project success
• Provides ongoing support for all Project Managers
• Works in Asana to assist Project Managers
• Works alongside all Regional Sales Administrative Assistants to assist with change orders and Invoicing
• Maintains Asana, Home Readiness Report, All Regions Shipping Schedule, Delivery Schedules, Demo
• Declining Budget and Inventory Report for the NSM
• Weekly call with NSM
• Maintains the purchase schedule as approved by the NSM, ensuring expenditures remain within budget; oversees the demo report to track and control costs effectively
• Submits New Home Requisitions
• Assists with questions regarding Ledgers, Requisitions, Certificates of Occupancy
• Supervises administrative assistant
• Periodically is in the field to better understand construction challenges
• Lead and manage warranty department operations, team members, and procedures
• Oversee reporting, including weekly/monthly service reports and business analytics
• Drive product strategy, support, and requirements development
• Analyze data and systems to optimize performance and improve customer outcomes
• Contribute to marketing strategy, including product positioning and customer segmentation
• Present insights and communicate effectively across teams and leadership
• Monitor team performance, assign workloads, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency, productivity, and service quality

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize and quickly switch tasks when necessary
• Works well under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well independently and/or with a team
• Must possess strong time and resource management skills
• Proficient in MS Office/Word/Excel
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Minimum Education: High School Graduate
• Experience with Asana, Yardi and CRM, a plus
