Sales Development Representative

Eden Prescott is recruiting for an unnamed AI cybersecurity startup. The Sales Development Representative will generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and partner referrals, qualifying prospects and booking meetings for Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting while maintaining personalized, high-quality conversations
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through effective discovery and needs assessment
• Book qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives
• Follow up promptly with marketing-generated leads and partner referrals
• Build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across target accounts
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve outreach messaging, targeting, and conversion rates
• Maintain accurate activity records, lead information, and pipeline updates within the CRM
• Continuously experiment with prospecting strategies to improve performance and pipeline generation

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role, ideally within cybersecurity
• Demonstrated success generating qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Confidence making cold calls, handling objections, and engaging senior decision-makers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to personalize outreach while managing a high volume of prospecting activity
• Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
• Competitive, coachable, resilient, and motivated by achieving targets
• Genuine interest in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies
