Field Engineer

Jupiter Medical Center hires a Field Engineer to provide on-site and off-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of computer equipment. The role also responds to help desk calls and supports printers, networks, and deployment of computers and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

• The Field Engineers responsibilities include on-site and off-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of computer equipment
• Receive and respond to incoming help desk calls
• Printer maintenance and repair
• Network testing, cabling, and maintenance
• Setup and deployment of new desktop and notebook computers, peripherals, printers, software, and other items as required
• Coordinate support between third-party support vendors and end users
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance; troubleshooting Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office problems; installing and troubleshooting networks and wiring
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS routers, firewalls, and VPN
