Platform Software Engineer (DevOps)

CareCentrix is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to bridge software development and platform operations through automation, tooling, and platform engineering. The role builds internal tools, integrations, and CI/CD solutions to improve developer productivity, software delivery, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build automation solutions that improve software delivery and operational efficiency
• Develop internal tools, integrations, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and software engineering best practices
• Support applications running in cloud and containerized environments
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to platform modernization, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud adoption efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of software development or related engineering experience
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Java / Spring Boot
• Python
• Node.js
• React
• Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Git, source control best practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• All candidates must reside permanently in the United States to be considered
• CloudFormation, Ansible, or helm
• Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms
• Kubernetes experience
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus
