Vice President Project Management

Hamburg Commercial Bank AG, Luxembourg Branch is hiring a Vice President Project Management to oversee and coordinate complex projects and programs across the organization. The role leads project teams, manages delivery and stakeholder communication, and drives change and transformation initiatives while aligning work with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and coordinating complex projects and programs across the organization
• Leading project teams, defining project scope, setting objectives, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements
• Manage timelines, resources, and budgets, monitor project progress, and resolve issues and risks proactively
• Stakeholder communication, preparation of status reports and presentations, approval of key project deliverables, and continuous improvement of project management standards and methodologies
• Mentoring team members, fostering collaboration across departments, and driving efficient implementation of change and transformation initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong project management and project planning skills, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Proficiency in program management, including coordination of multiple related projects and alignment with strategic goals
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, assess risks, identify dependencies, and support decision-making
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight for large-scale projects or programs
• Extensive experience in financial services or corporate banking, ideally in an international or cross-border environment
• Proficiency with modern project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, waterfall, hybrid approaches)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels
• Strong leadership capabilities, including team mentoring, conflict resolution, and change management
• University degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
• relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• High level of integrity, resilience, and ability to work independently while coordinating international teams
