Principal Product Manager

Samsara is hiring a Principal Product Manager to identify high-impact customer problems and build products for physical operations. The role involves developing AI-powered products across hardware and software, owning outcomes end to end, and driving customer impact and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Spend time in the field with customers, find the problems that matter most, and rally the troops with a strong perspective on what to build next
• Build with AI every day: prototype, test, ship fast, and keep pushing what the newest models can do
• Work across hardware, software, and AI teams to ship products customers pay for
• Own outcomes end to end, measured in customer impact and revenue

Requirements:

• You've shipped products customers pay for and can show, with numbers, the impact you personally drove
• You use AI tools daily and get excited when a new model changes what's possible
• You find your own problems to work on and take full ownership of the outcome
• You have strong commercial instincts and want to understand how the product gets sold
• You have conviction and can move a room quickly, but low ego in changing your mind when someone else is right (or more right)
