Product Manager

ConnectWise is hiring a Product Manager to plan and execute its platforms, from requirements gathering and backlog management through development, implementation, and support. The role partners with cross-functional teams and customers to define product needs, guide development, and improve product performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the Product Management team, with a high attention to detail
• Researches, analyzes, and documents findings
• May coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members
• Defines and drives the business plan, strategy, and positioning of the products to align to corporate growth strategy
• Collaborates to discover solutions to identified problems, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out the value of your solution in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
• Proactively identifies market opportunities and performs analysis to understand the competitive landscape, trends, and emerging opportunities
• Interacts with customers and prospects to define market requirements and communicates the needs to the development team
• Monitors product performance to evaluate adoption rates, user experience, and production issues
• Prioritizes the product backlog in conjunction with overall business and partner needs
• Represents ConnectWise in all partner engagements, events, conferences, and other venues

Requirements:

• Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision
• Recognized subject matter expert of applicable work area
• Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical partners
• Ability to work in rapid pace environment with multiple projects, while maintaining high quality work
• Demonstrated commitment to partner and team-oriented management
• Familiarity with software development, database, server/client, and similar technical concepts
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product management
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of MSDP industry
• Bachelor's degree in related field or related business experience
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology, software development life cycle, and Atlassian Product Suite
• Experience in ConnectWise PSA application
