Sales Account Manager

Schreiner Group is hiring a Sales Account Manager for its Automotive / General Industry line. The role focuses on generating new business, managing customer accounts, developing product solutions, and growing long-term strategic partnerships across the Great Lakes / Upper Midwest Region and Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Generates new sales with new customers thereby generating new business
• Up to 70% of time and efforts to be spent on new business generation and activities
• Ensures that existing customer’s needs, demands, and questions are met
• Keeps a constant line of communication open to the customer. Interacts and communicates with our customers on a daily basis. Set up status meetings with the customer
• Conducts market analysis and research regarding the best pricing structure for the customer and company
• Manages customer issues or complaints and moves to resolve the issue by direct them to the appropriate department
• Development of product solutions together with customers and internal sales
• Aid in the development of new products
• Develop an annual budget and forecasts. Explain significant variance between actual and budgeted/forecasted figures
• Determines the most crucial needs of the customer to come up with the best account management strategy and objectives
• Conducts account and customer reviews and interviews to anticipate customer needs
• Coordinate with the sales team, product development, colleagues in Europe and Asia, and other staff members to make sure customer’s demands are being met
• Forecast sales for customer accounts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher educational degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in outside sales and project management
• 3-5 years' experience in negotiating new customer contracts
• Experience utilizing a CRM
• Intermediate to advanced level of computer knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suites
• Business level or greater fluency in Spanish
