Product Manager Expert

AfterQuery hires contract product managers to create and evaluate product judgment scenarios used by frontier AI labs. The role involves authoring realistic product scenarios and reference answers, grading model outputs, and identifying weak product reasoning.

Responsibilities:

• Author realistic product scenarios from ambiguous problem through shipped decision
• Write reference answers with the prioritization and tradeoff reasoning made explicit
• Grade model output on specs, roadmaps, and strategy for judgment quality
• Flag plans that read polished but dodge the hard tradeoff or ignore the user

Requirements:

• 2+ years as a product manager owning a live product or feature area
• Shipped work you can point to, specs, launches, and the outcomes behind them
• Fluency with product tools and rituals, roadmaps, PRDs, analytics, and experiments
• Clear written English for documenting product reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week
• B2B SaaS, consumer, or platform product depth
• Technical background or close work with engineering teams
• Experience with AI or data products
