Customer Service Representative

Alera Group is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support its Small Business Commercial Insurance team. The role assists Account Managers with client service, policy documentation, account updates, and day-to-day service requests while building commercial insurance knowledge through hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

• Support Account Managers in servicing small business commercial insurance clients
• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely, professional customer service
• Assist with policy documentation, account updates, and day-to-day service requests
• Maintain accurate client information across multiple systems and insurance carrier websites
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive client experience
• Learn commercial insurance products, processes, and technology through hands-on training

Requirements:

• You have 2–5 years of customer service experience
• You're a strong communicator who builds positive relationships
• You're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• You're proficient in Microsoft Office and confident navigating multiple computer systems
• You're motivated to learn, take initiative, and develop a career in the insurance industry
• No prior insurance experience is necessary — we'll provide the training!
• A bachelor's degree is preferred
