You will be working directly with Toptal’s clients to understand their needs, custom-match them with talent from our network, and provide support during the matching process.
Work with clients to understand their needs, custom-match them with experts from at least two specialties within our talent network (Design, Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, and Management Consulting), and provide support during the matching process, throughout the engagement, and beyond.
Manage client expectations effectively.
Write professional, engaging, and accurate job descriptions to attract the best talent for the job.
Find the right talent to meet client goals.
Introduce the talent to the client in a way that showcases the talent’s experience, skills, and relevance to the client’s business needs.
Manage the matching process end-to-end to ensure a positive experience for both the client and talent, including:
Confirm that talent meets both skills and experience criteria along with the commitment and timezone constraints. Negotiating talent rates to ensure the talent falls within the client’s stated budget. Track, understand, and incorporate client and talent feedback to increase the likelihood of success.
Work collaboratively with other teams to effectively take advantage of opportunities, remove friction in the process, and deal with engagement issues when they arise.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required.
5+ years of experience operating in complex, cross-functional environments delivering business and technology outcomes, with hands-on expertise in at least two of these areas: Design, Marketing, Product Management, or Management Consulting.
Solid understanding of how initiatives progress from discovery through execution and delivery, including the responsibilities of the key roles involved.
Strong grasp of digital products, go-to-market strategy, and end-to-end creative and technology implementation.
Familiar with roles in application development: Design, Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, or Management Consulting.
Keen attention to detail and the ability to assess the quality, usability, and aesthetic standards of digital experiences and deliverables.
Ability to understand business problems and map them to practical, industry-standard solutions.
Excellent communication, relationship development, and emotional intelligence skills to manage client relationships, excelling at active listening, negotiation, and closing.
Strong adaptability to learn and execute in new areas of expertise.
Team leadership exposure, including leading cross-functional teams, mentoring professionals, or contributing to hiring and team development decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clients and internal teams.
