Identify business opportunities by identifying prospective leads
Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective leads or clients
Generate new leads through cold calls and emails
Engage with prospects to understand their needs and identify how client's solutions can add value to their freight forwarding operations.
Qualify prospects based on their fit and readiness to integrate with client's platform, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
Work closely with the sales and account management teams to set up meetings and product demos for qualified leads.
Relentlessly follow up with leads, providing them with valuable information and resources to nurture their interest.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, notes, and progress in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, outreach, and qualified meetings.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-4+ years SDR or sales and marketing experience in Logistics industry
Understanding of the sales process in B2B SaaS environments
Knowledge in sea and air freight forwarding, customs procedures and tariffs, warehousing, trucking, and supply chain is an advantage
Excellent communication skills (English both written and verbal)
Can work independently and under pressure
Problem-solving and negotiation skills
Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing (C1)
Client management experience is a plus.
