About this role
Role Overview
Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships with suppliers, clinical study partners and other external parties as required.
Lead negotiations, structure agreements, and drive to closure in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and executive leadership.
Build a pipeline of opportunities by understanding evolving landscape and technologies in Early Cancer Detection.
Work closely with R&D, Product, and Clinical Affairs to align external opportunities with internal strategy and capabilities.
Requirements
8–10+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development experience in biopharma, diagnostics, or life sciences necessary for the role.
Track record of leading and closing strategic collaboration and licensing agreements.
Demonstrated track record of structuring and closing deals in oncology, ideally in diagnostics.
Strong scientific and commercial understanding of oncology, immunology, or related therapeutic areas necessary for the role.
Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s in healthcare, life sciences, pharmacy or related field is required; PhD in relevant field is a strong plus.
Industry background in diagnostics, software, life sciences, or private equity/venture capital. 3+ years’ experience in Corporate Business Development, investment banking or management consulting.
