Identify, target, and acquire new clients in key sectors (e.g., financial institutions, corporates, e-commerce, and B2B platforms).
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor on FX risk management and cross-border payment strategies.
Provide consultative selling of Convera’s FX and payment solutions, including hedging strategies, spot and forward contracts, and payment automation tools.
Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to position Convera as a thought leader.
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in business development.
Requirements
7+ years in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
