Role Overview
- Prepare specifications from engineering change notices, customer specifications, and/or published data sheets.
- Maintain customer specifications files.
- Review customer drawings and data.
- Translate customer language into standard procedures and product flow.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Candidate must have knowledge and experience using personal computers, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Candidate must have strong editorial skills.
- Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to obtain resources needed to complete task.
- Candidate must be able to work independently but also work well on a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Possess operational and maintenance experience on submarine combat control systems, sonar systems, exterior communications systems, navigation systems, or electronic warfare systems (bonus points).
