Establish a governance body to develop, validate, and implement standards that facilitate the exchange and integration of research data and information.
Direct and manage the development of technology solutions.
Proactively provide services that anticipate needs and can be customized.
Serve as an informatics/technology expert to the Emory University research community.
Assist in the development of grants and the design of solutions as well as advocate for the research community.
Manage information technology staff and make optimal use of the department's resources.
Manage operational, project, and capital budgets, initiate and prioritize projects, balance resources.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and seven years of related work experience which includes the design and implementation of highly complex information systems on multiple platforms, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Previous supervisory, leadership or management experience.
