Performs general maintenance and repairs on the Tank Farm, Warehouse, Facilities, Equipment, Forklifts and Trailers
Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned including painting, rack identification, and replacement of light fixtures & light bulbs
Responsible for coordinating the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed routinely
Completes various welding and fabrication projects
Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections
Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors
Monitors progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and proper repairs
Monitor performance and personnel development of staff
Participate in hiring, promoting and termination as necessary
Provides guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers
Serve on company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team
Performs required testing, repairs and re-certification of IBC’s
Properly handle hazardous waste as generated
Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines
Perform all other duties as required
Requirements
Qualified Petroleum Mechanic or Technician or PM 1 equivalent is preferred
Basic understanding of electrical code
Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
Experience in maintenance and tune ups for trucks including oil changes, minor engine repairs, and various mechanical repairs
The ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
