Collections Representative

Role Overview

• Researches overdue account balances and follows up with insurance carriers or customers
• Reviews unpaid and underpaid claims
• Verifies payment information adjustments
• Coordinates collection activities
• Complies with Fair Debt Collector Practices Act
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding account status
• Resolves discrepancies and prepares adjustments and refunds

Requirements

• High school diploma is required
• One year of related experience is required.
• Basic skills in Word and Excel
• English (reading, writing, verbal) proficiency
• Basic level mathematical proficiency
