Role Overview
Possesses unique product or program management and subject matter expertise as a thought leader.
Established relationships with key industry contacts in the technology or innovation space.
Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
Works with senior leaders to support strategic planning and decision making, i.e., market transformation strategies for product portfolio; portfolio management; roadmap methodology, etc.
Comprehensive expertise in analytics, strategic vision, and the ability to utilize data for informed decision-making.
May manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Manage and evaluate existing products/programs, development of new products/programs, and sunset of products/programs at the end of their lifecycle.
Identify, analyze and develop programs with internal and external stakeholders consistent with PG&E’s non-tariffed regulatory standards and market research. Up to and including: leading business case development, developing commercial strategy, deep research, regulatory contributions, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, or related.
10+ years of related experience or equivalent.
MBA or equivalent graduate degree (desired).
Ability to lead and influence strategic planning and decision-making working with senior leadership at PG&E.
Demonstrated Strategic & Business Acumen.
Strong track record of mentoring and developing other product managers and cross-functional leaders.
Demonstrated experience creating executive level presentations and experience presenting to senior leadership.
Deep expertise in customer discovery, journey mapping, and driving customer-centric innovation.
Skilled at simplifying complex or technical for internal and external communications.
Experience piloting and scaling new programs or products.
Advanced risk identification, management and mitigation.
