Role Overview
Manage and direct key academic support projects for the Office of the Provost.
Oversee University accreditation and ensure compliance of educational programming.
Support the doctoral council and PhD program reviews.
Provide counsel to university administrators on student academic and university policies.
Manage Danforth Dean and Provost Unit reviews.
Serve as Provost Office primary contact for policy & compliance topics.
Partner with university teams for academic policy review and alignment.
Manage teams supporting PhD reviews, academic integrity, accreditation, and compliance topics.
Collaborate with campus partners on academic integrity and university-wide policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and eight years relevant experience or Master’s degree and five years relevant experience in academic policy and/or compliance.
Master’s degree and seven to ten years of related experience preferred.
Relevant experience in higher education and data analysis.
Knowledge of WashU systems, including SLATE and Workday.
Ability to relate well to a variety of constituents on academic and personal levels as well as to show sensitivity to student concerns.
Broad understanding of the issues of higher education, assessment, and research methods.
Experience in Graduate Education dynamics and culture.
Excellent computer skills.
Effective oral and written communication.
