Conduct on-site and virtual/phone surveys of prospects and clients evaluating complex exposures and controls for auto, general liability products liability, property and workers compensation
Summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate loss improvement recommendations
Conduct multi line loss analysis
Provide support and recommendations to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers
Prepare and conduct presentations to serviced accounts
Participate in special projects and possibly become a Subject Matter Expert
Requirements
Competency with NFPA, OSHA, and DOT standards
Competency with Microsoft suite tools and applications
Good communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers
Solid time management skills
Experience with ergonomics, life safety and prem ops exposures
Ability to evaluate sprinkler system adequacy and calculate loss expectancies
Strong consultative skills and the ability to complete detailed reports and assist clients with recommendation compliance
Education/Experience Engineering, Safety, Risk Management or comparable degree/experience
A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in a safety-related role; property and casualty insurance experience highly desired
Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as ASP, CSP, CFPS, or ARM is highly desirable.
