Supports the Task Force for Global Health's revenue diversification and expansion of funders by supporting cross-programmatic business development initiatives, operating management platforms, and developing and refining knowledge management systems.
Oversees prospect research efforts to identify funding opportunities for the organization in government, philanthropy and business sectors.
Coordinates closely with Integrated Program Services teams such as External Relations, Information Technology Services Team, and Finance, as well as technical program teams to develop prospects and manage all aspects of proposal development collaboratively.
Works under the broad guidance of the Director of Business Development.
Requires a strong understanding of proposal development processes, project management and public health.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience in business development, proposal development, grants management, or program development within public health or international development organizations, or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A master's degree in public health, international development, global health, social sciences, public policy, or a related field is preferred.
Solid understanding of public health, business development, and resource mobilization functions, ideally including global health experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling content.
Evidence of ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
Strong project management and organizational skills: ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Attention to detail, particularly related to proposal compliance and documentation.
