Assisting the V.P. and leadership in providing overall leadership to teams assisting and implementing post-disaster recovery efforts.
Scheduling and assigning staff.
Allocating resources, assessing risk and managing risk.
Coordinating various components that contribute to the project as a whole to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensuring that task deadlines are understood and achieved.
Keeping all parties informed of progress and any outstanding issues.
Oversight and management of subcontractors.
Ensuring deliverables are completed compliantly, on schedule and of high quality.
Validate progress and quality of Construction Managers performance, track and confirm noted items are addressed and regularly communicate results.
Follow-up with staff, subcontractors and construction managers on expectations and progress of tasks.
Assist project leadership and staff with client requests by providing data, reports and other required information and in ensuring quality control of all information provided.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of combined program and project management experience.
5+ years of in-depth experience with the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program.
2+ years of experience project managing a successful high-volume housing recovery program.
Able and willing to travel (flight and vehicle) for program needs as directed.
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
