Design, implement, and maintain a global compliance program aligned with U.S. and international export control and sanctions regimes, including EAR and OFAC.
Oversee ECCN classification and technical export analyses for advanced semiconductor and AI hardware products.
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure operational controls align with evolving regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain compliance frameworks for complex commercial agreements, including government contracts and related regulatory programs.
Monitor and advise leadership on regulatory developments at the intersection of AI, advanced compute, export controls, and national security.
Support additional compliance domains, including privacy, supply chain integrity, environmental matters, ethics and code of conduct programs, and anti-corruption initiatives.
Build and scale global compliance training programs and internal controls appropriate for a rapidly growing organization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on compliance risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and regulatory positioning.
Requirements
10+ years of legal, compliance, or regulatory experience, ideally within export-controlled or government-regulated industries.
Experience in semiconductors, advanced compute, cloud infrastructure, aerospace/defense, or similarly regulated technology sectors strongly preferred.
Deep familiarity with export controls, sanctions programs, and international trade compliance frameworks; exposure to federal contracting requirements a plus.
Demonstrated experience building and scaling enterprise compliance programs in high-growth environments.
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical operational controls and business-facing guidance.
Strong cross-functional partnership skills and executive presence.
Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, technically sophisticated environment.
