Prepare and file New York and Oregon Mile Tax returns for Lease customers in an accurate and timely manner
Prepare monthly Customer Billing to include providing detail of charges by customer/by location to Compliance Billing, and processing journal vouchers as needed
Responsible for ensuring the proper documentation is received for new customers
Maintain Customer ACCESS Data Bases
Identify customers who are out of compliance and escalate to field personnel
Communicate with state agencies on any tax issues on behalf of the customer
Provide audit support as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
H.S. diploma/GED
Basic Financial Accounting course or equivalent
One (1) year or more experience
Customer Service background helpful preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates problem solving skills
Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Intermediate Excel, Access, and Word skills.
