Role Overview
- Oversee the AP team, including reviewing their work.
- Report to the Controller.
- Join an accounting team of over 10 professionals.
- Handle a high volume of transactions and grant agreements.
Requirements
- Strong background in nonprofit accounting
- Accounting degree
- Experience operating in a structured or union-supported environment
- Ability to bring organization and oversight to a high-volume setting.
- Review journal entries
- Lead account reconciliation clean-up and coordination efforts
- Strengthen internal review procedures
- Ensure accuracy across the general ledger.
- Partner closely with development team
- Properly account for complex donation transactions and pledges.
- Support oversight and distribution of numerous grant agreements to community partners and service providers.
