Identify main shopper trends to build the SS (Single Serve) category vision and development.
Build and articulate compelling selling stories, including yearly priorities, key category trends, and 5Ps direction.
Lead analysis of existing portfolio/NPD performance to identify growth drivers and improvement areas.
Build SS Assortment guidelines (both for online and offline business), providing the local activation team and Commercial Strategy the base to build customer assortment priorities and distribution targets.
Define SS portfolio objectives and establish priority rankings through category assessment and new product development (NPD) opportunity identification.
Define key elements and success criteria for each NPD initiative.
Coordinate the end-to-end NPD creation process across cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
Develop pricing, promotional strategy, and volume ambitions aligned with business goals.
Constantly interact and build relationships with Global Headquarters counterparts; share with them local North America results, evidence and insights.
Align SS brand assets with relevant below-the-line (BTL) tools and match with retail calendars to maximize shopper engagement.
Collaborate with brand and shopper marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Establish SS shopper KPI objectives at the national level to track performance and drive accountability.
Oversee customer activation analysis on a national scale to optimize impact and ROI.
Manage sell-out sales force activities at national level, including set-up, coordination, and ongoing support (e.g., IRT, Basemakers).
Partner with NA platform, supply chain, demand planning and commercial strategy teams to ensure alignment on NPD timelines and deliverables.
Monitor category performance using syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.).
Prepare dashboards and reports to support decision-making and identify SS growth opportunities.
Supporting big or national Trade Shows as needed (FMI, Expo West, WAFC, etc.)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
3+ years trade marketing, shopper marketing experience
Strong communication skills
Strong proficiency in PPT, Excel
Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong project management skills
Ability to travel as needed up to 33% of time
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
