About this role
Role Overview
Build customer relationships by providing innovative solutions and products.
Identify, establish, and maintain sales opportunities including account management and relationships with agencies.
Develop and implement a sales plan and geographic strategy.
Interact with customers daily through various communication methods.
Provide price estimates, product specifications, and answer general customer questions.
Manage and report weekly sales opportunities, quotes, and orders.
Travel to client locations and attend events to cultivate sales opportunities.
Learn and utilize CRM and ERP systems for processing quotes and orders.
Prepare reports and maintain sales records according to deadlines.
Collaborate with customers and vendors to enhance overall performance.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative.
Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting.
Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement.
Ability to complete work within given deadlines with little supervision.
Ability to carry out skillful negotiations.
Strong communication skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain security clearance, if required.
