Manages daily activities of the plant ensuring compliance and productivity
Selects, trains, and develops staff; conducts performance appraisals
Monitors operations and staff, recommends changes for optimal resource utilization
Ensures the entire plant is within regulatory compliance
Pro-actively interfaces with area peers to achieve business goals
Initiates timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions
Requirements
Education equivalent to bachelor degree in Business or Logistics or the equivalent in related work experience
Five or more years of management experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution, production, or logistics environment with a focus on direct team member supervision
Demonstrates good working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office
