Senior Director of Quality

Role Overview

• Define and drive the business unit’s quality strategy, standards, and metrics.
• Lead and advance the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Quality organization.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering leadership on design for reliability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as FDA, EMA.
• Partner with Supply Chain to manage supplier quality.
• Own root cause investigations for systemic quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma.
• Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to senior leadership.
• Drive and manage customer-facing quality activities such as escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance/quality management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing global teams.
• Proven experience within complex products and complex supply chains.
• Deep knowledge of quality systems, methodologies and tools (Six Sigma, Lean, APQP, FMEA).
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience with regulatory standards and certification processes (ISO).
• Experience with supplier quality management.
