Role Overview
- Analyze benefit requests for prior authorization medications and compounded prescriptions that require knowledge of healthcare
- Conduct research in various pharmaceutical databases (DIN, drug cost, appendices, monograph, medications purchased abroad)
- Generate claims-related reports and consumption profiles using data warehouse statistics
- Support the Health Expertise Centre team regarding prior authorization medications, exclusion lists, and more complex cases related to a patient’s specific condition, etc.
- Collaborate with departmental pharmacists in their daily tasks and with different teams across the organization
Requirements
- College diploma in nursing, pre-hospital emergency care, or pharmaceutical production technology
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
