Directs the strategic planning, development, and implementation of program
Collaborates with representatives from private, government, and international agencies
Represents the program in various national and international fora
Conducts research, designs new initiatives, writes publishable articles and papers, collaborates with others, and designs programs
May supervise staff
Performs other related duties as required
Plan and run day-to-day operations for projects in Francophone West Africa; support work in Sierra Leone, Senegal, and Ghana
Serve as a forward-facing point of contact with NPHIs, Ministries of Health, partners, and funders
Co-develop SOWs and budgets with NPHIs; track milestones, expenditures, and reporting; propose fixes
Adapt in-person workshops to virtual formats; help facilitate workshops and coordinate logistics for meetings and conferences
Draft and assemble inputs for proposals, donor reports, case studies, and communications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in field related to specific program as indicated
Five years program related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of hands-on program coordination or project management experience, preferably in global/public health or international development
Demonstrated experience managing timelines, budgets, and multi-partner deliverables
Professional French proficiency (written and spoken) sufficient to coordinate meetings, draft emails, interpret documents, and review documents with Francophone partners
