Water/Wastewater Market Director

Role Overview

• Implement strategic plan to achieve growth objectives for Southern California region
• Identify key clients and manage strategic relationships
• Develop and manage regional project pipeline
• Provide strategic leadership and management for key projects
• Identify and recruit staff critical to growth and success
• Lead project staff and develop work plans, specifications, and calculations
• Manage financial performance of projects and ensure quality assurance activities
• Maintain positive client relations and pursue new opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in field of practice
• Graduate degree preferred
• Management coursework and/or MBA a plus
• Ten to fifteen years of experience since B.S. or nine to fourteen years since M.S. showing progressive project management responsibilities
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
• Public speaking and persuasive ability
• Very strong financial management, team management, and leadership skills
• Professional registration in field of practice preferred, e.g., P.E.
• Certification as a 'Project Management Professional' (PMP) or 'Certified Construction Manager' (CCM)
