Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations and monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage Virtual Environments, Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Design, build, configure and deploy Storage Are network (SAN) volumes to virtual and hardware systems.
Manage Disaster Recovery Operations, including configuration and monitoring of backup policies on on-premise equipment and in Cloud Storage Services.
Build server baselines compliant with NASA Cybersecurity policies and requirements.
Support senior system administrators with project support.
Maintain up-to-date inventory of all systems, hardware and virtual.
Requirements
Relevant certification in the specific system or application being supported i.e., Linux, Windows Server, Apple MacOS, Remedy, ServiceNow etc.
Solid understanding of key communications tools, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
US Citizenship is required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance.
