Patient Access Specialist

Role Overview

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks
• Provide proper patient instructions and collect insurance information
• Process physician orders and utilize overlay tools while providing excellent customer service
• Conduct audits of accounts and ensure accuracy and timeliness to meet audit standards
• Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits and explain general consent for treatment forms

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• CRCR Certification required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid)
