Responsible for development of nursing education and professional development programs for assigned scope
Partner with system and market leaders, and subject matter experts to develop and standardize system education and professional development programs
Work in collaboration with nursing leaders and other NPD resources within the facility, market or system to ensure nursing education and professional development initiatives advance opportunities for a competent and confident nursing workforce
Implement system nursing education and professional development programs, support evidence based practice, and nursing research efforts
Uses critical thinking, and applies the nursing process, principles of adult learning, teaching/learning theories and age appropriate teaching strategies to education programs
Understand principles for learning design and integrates learning technology for effective learning experiences

Requirements
Masters Degree in Nursing or related field: Required
Post Graduate Degree (Ph.D.) or DNP: Preferred
5 years related experience including 2 years in leadership role with significant business impact: Required
Experience with educational program development, establishment of learning objectives, and selection of learning modalities to enhance participant mastery of material: Required
Experience with the Magnet and/or Pathways to Excellence recognition programs; expert writing and editing skills; strong written and verbal communication skills: Required
