Serve as primary analyst on structured finance ABS transactions, performing end-to-end credit analysis, cash flow modeling, and presenting findings to rating committees
Lead analytical work on innovative and complex ABS structures while maintaining consistency with S&P's rating criteria and analytical approaches
Engage with market participants in pre-engagement discussions to provide market education and assess rating feasibility of novel structures
Collaborate with cross-functional analytical teams across different practices and regions to deliver comprehensive rating solutions for esoteric transactions
Review legal and operating documents for transaction consistency, provide structured feedback to external parties, and manage client relationships
Contribute to knowledge sharing through training initiatives, market commentaries, podcasts, and webinars to enhance S&P's market presence
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in structured finance and credit analysis with demonstrated expertise in ABS transactions
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field from an accredited institution
Strong proficiency with financial modeling tools such as Excel and experience with cash flow analysis and modeling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to assess new asset and structural risks within rating frameworks
Proven ability to multi-task, manage deadlines under pressure, and work collaboratively in team environments
