Manage a team of underwriters in support of developing retail network pricing strategies for portfolio of clients
Accountable for managing clients’ end to end retail network financials by serving as the strategic advisor through leveraging market competitive strategies, knowledge of supply chain economics, and conducting complex analyses
Lead a team of underwriters in the development of pricing strategies and underwrite offers to win and retain clients while also maximizing profitability
Work with Sales and Account Management to review, strategize and analyze renewal and new sales opportunities for a portfolio of clients
Responsible for effectively communicating with Senior Leadership, SAM and other business partners in the delivery of ESI opportunities to grow and manage financial results, including the preparation of strategic internal and external directed presentations
Manage portfolio of clients to Strat Plan and Budget targets by managing client specific rate relief for retail network
Work with product areas to assist in the development of program pricing for clients
Provide senior leadership analyses to steer key internal initiatives and projects
Champion continuous innovation and improvement to existing best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field
An MBA and/or CPA is desirable
At least 8+ years relevant work experience in pricing and/or underwriting
Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Proficient project manager who is able to lead multiple processes and systems simultaneously and deliver on tight and moving deadlines
Ability to drive change and create a new perspective using existing solutions
Collaborative and accountable team player with the ability to 'hold the line'
Works independently with minimal guidance
Strong relationship-building with internal and external partners
Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Entrepreneurial attitude; Ability to take ownership and deliver results; Experience in deal pricing and optimization or underwriting; Strong understanding of client analytics, financials, and value trade offs
