Define and lead multi-season Merchandise Financial Plans for the NA marketplace
Adjust and align Merchandise Financial Plans to consumer architecture based on targets and actuals
Set and perform pre-season top-down financial business targets for class/category, gender, and channel to inform franchise/style plans, financial forecasts, and end-to-end inventory forecasts
Establish and execute inventory liquidation plans within and across channels
Reconcile top-down and bottom-up forecasts through a middle-out process
Determine cross-channel trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, optimize margin, and maintain marketplace inventory health
Incorporate financial reporting and budget requirements into merchandise plans and recommendations
Establish systematic methods and tools to monitor stock-to-sale ratios and sales trend data
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
8 years of experience in retail, planning, and/or product management
Strong ability to influence and work constructively with others by communicating effectively
Outstanding written and verbal communication, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail
Ability to collate and understand relevant market data to inform the Merchandise Financial Plan, assess risk, and solve problems
Strong command of retail metrics including retail sales, ST%, WOS, inventories, revenue, and margin, with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcomes
