Work with Company personnel, manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives of gas materials, gas metering, and gas service regulators to support and review for consideration new devices and standardize existing devices.
Planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient, cost-effective flow and storage of materials and in-process inventory to reduce the total life cycle costs.
Provides value-added information regarding market developments and supplier delivery capabilities, fostering cooperation within and across Avangrid.
Demonstrate the ability to provide a leadership role and be capable of filling in for the Logistics Supervisor.
Review, inspect, verify, and maintain levels (Min/Max/Reorder point) of all required materials, tools, appliances, and other items.
Lead investigations of new Gas metering technology and implement enhancements to Gas Meter reading systems.
Represent the Logistics and Metering group at standardization meetings.
Work with project managers and Logistics group when large, comprehensive construction projects are implemented.
