Director, Project Management Office – MedSurg

Role Overview

• Provide strategic leadership for building project management capabilities
• Lead change management of an experienced team of professionals
• Develop consistency and harmonization of our program management function
• Establish best in class program management practices and procedures
• Provide insights and recommendations for budget decisions
• Monitor and support the performance improvement of all active pipeline programs and projects
• Build and lead a high-performing PMO Team
• Manage stakeholder relationships across various departments

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technical field
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in medical device development
• Previous experience in global, cross-functional R&D programs and projects
• Extensive experience in a cross-functional leadership environment
• Strong analytics and problem-solving abilities
• Prior experience in project management methodology
• Experience in leading effective teams
• Knowledge of MS Project or similar project management tools
